Tour in the Internal Coast Route

Duration: 5 Days

Day 1: We start the day departing from the city of Puerto Varas at approximately 9:00 AM, in the direction of the city of Valdivia (200 Kms) at an average speed of 120 km / hour, we will arrive in the city of Valdivia around 11:00 in the morning we will stop for a coffee and refuel. We go back to the motorcycles in the direction of the city of San Jose de la Mariquina (50 Kms) where we will connect to the coastal route to reach the town of Mehuin (27 Kms) where we will know an old fishermen’s cove and its extensive beach in front of the pacific ocean place where we will have lunch since its kitchen is characterized by good seafood. At about 2:30 p.m. we get back to the motorcycles in the direction of the town of Tirua (178 Kms) all this way we will do it along the coastal route. Between Mehuin and Tirua we will visit the beautiful Budi Lake.

when we arrive to the city of Tirua we will stop for a coffee and we must continue to the city of Capitan Pastene (62 Kms) old town colonized by Italian immigrants from the city of Modena. Capitan Pastene is renowned for its gastronomy that still keeps the Italian cuisine alive, it is easy to find different trattorias around the town, that is why tonight we will sleep in this town. Once settled in our hotel, we will visit the Museum of Prosciutto where we can see the hams hanging, after our visit we will eat at the famous Trattoria Don Primo, where we can also buy handmade products such as cheeses, jams, preserves and the famous prosciutto or Italian ham. After dinner we will go to visit the old San Felipe de Neri church to end our day.

Day 2: Today we get up early, our mission is to reach the city of Concepción (208 Kms), we will continue using the coastal route (Route 42 and Route 60) we will visit the Lanalhue Lake that is in the first section of the circuit, to reach the village of Canete. Here we will visit the Mapuche Museum and the old Fort Tucapel. Around 4:00 pm we get back on our motorcycles to end our day arriving in the city of Concepción, we sleep here tonight.

Day 3: Today we get up early, and we are on top of the motorcycle at 9:00 AM. We must make 300 km, first take the exit to route 5 south. We will travel about 100 kms, to get to know the imposing bridge of Salto el Laja near the city of Los Angeles. We return to the motorcycles and we do not stop until we reach the town of Collipulli, where we will have lunch. At around 3:00 p.m. we got on the bikes in the direction of Malalcahuello. We will travel about 120 kms, we will use route 5 south to reach the city of Victoria where we will stop to refuel. 

At this point we will deviate from the route, and we will use route 181 in the direction of the Andes mountain range, to reach the Manzanar hot springs, being recognized as 100% pure hot springs in an old colonial house. Before arriving, approximately 10 kms we will go to know the Salto del Indio, a long waterfall that comes directly from the mountain range. Tonight we stayed in the hot springs of the apple orchard, and enjoyed the thermal water.

Day 4: We got on the bike at 9:00 AM. We continue along route 181, a route that runs through all the towns near the Andes mountain range. In the town of Liucura we connect to the R-95 route that borders the entire limit of Chile with Argentina. We will arrive to lunch at the town of Cunco (175 Kms). After this break approximately 20 kms, we will connect to the S-69 route to reach the city of Villarica by the internal route. (61 km). We will stop in Villarica for a coffee and we will refuel. Then connect to the route S-95 which surrounds all the Calafquen Lake, so we will get to sleep in the town of Panguipulli.

Day 5: We got on the motorcycle at 9:00 AM, in the direction of the city of Los Lagos (57 Kms), where we will connect to the T-55 route which runs through Lake Ranco. We will stop in the town of Lago Ranco where we will have lunch in a well-known local food restaurant. After a good lunch we get on the bikes around 3:00 pm, in the direction of the city of Río Bueno on route T-85, here we will stop for a coffee and refuel. Then we will connect to the T-99 route and then reconnect to route 215 and from there to the city of Osorno, then return to route 5 south and return to the city of Puerto Varas (100 Kms).
